The data we generate provides our clients with the information they need to make critical, well-informed business decisions.
UTEC Survey works within Acteon Data & Robotics division, specialising in 3D asset management solutions, land surveying, laser scanning, photogrammetry, and dimensional control services. UTEC are currently looking to hire a Senior Surveyor based in the Central Belt of Scotland. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing resources and logistics required for Geomatics Projects and for delivery of final deliverables within their region.
Their main focus will be on providing a wide variety of Geomatics surveys, including Topographic, Utility, and Dimensional control surveys across the UK and overseas as required by UTEC.
Duties
- Assist the Geomatics Project Manager in operational matters
- Manage complete lifecycle of projects allocated to them from award phase through planning, execution, monitoring, completion and closeout phases, as well as post-completion evaluation and review
- Confirm and accept transfer of project material generated during the bid stage to project teams, including contract requirements, technical specifications, and commercial terms needed for proper execution of projects
- Liaise with clients on Company execution of projects and recording of Key Performance Indicators
- Identify and mitigate potential technical, commercial, QHSE risks for assigned projects
- Understand and implement solutions that will strengthen client relationships
- Strengthen communication and financial operations control
- Support the continual improvement of administrative systems, procedures, and methods for general use
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in Geospatial/Industrial Measurement industry required
- Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential
- Ability to perform tasks and achieve results with a high degree of accuracy and precision
- Ability to work both independently and within teams
- Able to work away from home where required & overseas where required
- Holding a valid drivers licence is essential for this role
- Must hold a valid passport, free from status or restrictive conditions that preclude travel to and work in countries where the company routinely operates.
