CFD Research is seeking candidates with a PhD in Imaging Science, Physics, Mathematics, or related degree for a Senior Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Imaging Scientist position. The candidate will have expertise in SAR image formation processors, RADAR physics, and SAR image phenomenology and quality trade space analysis. Experience in signal processing, radar waveform design, and radar phenomenology analysis for both airborne and space systems is required. Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Basic Qualifications: Masters degree required in Imaging Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline TS clearance required (With SCI eligibility) Prior experience developing SAR Image Formation and Radar Physics Analysis Strong understanding of fundamental RF principles Ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively Experience working on a cross-functional team developing solutions to complex tasks Active curiosity and a desire to learn and grow as a technical expert 8+ years of relevant experience Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and hold an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. preferred in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline TS/SCI clearance or TS with SCI eligibility preferred Understanding of statistical analysis techniques Experience in developing EW algorithms Expert in geospatial information and RF spectrum operations

Location: This role is based in the Dayton, OH area, and is 100% onsite.
