Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and maintaining complex systems and networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex systems and networks
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
• Develop and implement security protocols and procedures
• Manage and maintain servers, storage, and other infrastructure components
• Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure system and network stability
• Provide technical support to end-users
• Document system configurations and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in systems administration
• Extensive knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience with cloud computing technologies such as AWS and Azure
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell
