Job Description
MANTECH seeks a motivated, customer-oriented Senior Systems Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA . This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Maintain/troubleshoot Windows servers, workstations and peripherals
+ Perform Windows system administrative support to include account management, installing software and monitoring systems
+ Maintain domain controllers, file and application servers
+ Properly receive and triage customer incidents in the ticketing system
+ Follow standard operating procedures to accurately log all tickets within the ticketing system
+ Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques
+ Properly escalate unresolved tickets to the next tier of support
+ Engage with customers throughout the process and follow up to ensure proper incident closure
+ Ensure quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting customer timelines
+ Work schedule is 2nd shift with occasional weekends as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, from an ABET accredited or CAE designated institution with 4+ years experience or 8+ years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
+ DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, ex., Security+ Experience with network troubleshooting
+ Knowledge of system security, data backup/recovery, and network monitoring
Preferred Qualifications:
+ DoD 8140-451 Intermediate Certification (Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or GSEC)
+ ITIL 4 Foundations certification
+ Azure Certification
Clearance Requirements:
+ Must have a current/active Top Secret-SCI clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years and be willing and able to obtain a polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
+ The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
