JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for the overall design, implementation, operation, and support of Anderson Healthcare's enterprise-wide server, storage, and backup infrastructure across all locations. This role works collaboratively within a technology team to monitor and optimize systems so that configurations, performance, capacity, and security meet organizational and end-user needs.
The Senior Systems Engineer maintains and supports computer hardware and software, diagnoses and resolves complex technical issues, and serves as an escalation point for Helpdesk staff when end user incidents indicate broader systemic problems. This position collaborates closely with the Cyber Security Administrator to ensure that appropriate security controls are in place and effective. This position participates in an on-call rotation, including weekend and after-hours coverage as assigned.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Education Level:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; OR
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a related technical role combined with equivalent industry certifications in lieu of a degree.
Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 4 years of experience supporting Windows server/systems infrastructure, preferably in a healthcare environment.
