Senior Systems Analyst

As a Systems Analyst on the Record Keeping Platform Team, you will support multiple team initiatives sought at growing our core business and scaling our technology. In this role, you will focus on the platform health and modernization efforts of the applications and systems supporting the Insurance Group. Specifically, you will drive initiatives supporting product launches, advisor led tools and integration.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

· 7+ years professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions

· Demonstrable experience researching, optimizing, developing and authoring solution requirements, user stories, specifications and data mapping for moderate to complex software systems

· Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and programming in general

· Demonstrable experience in working with REST, SOAP, JSON, and APIs

· Proven experience with Agile development methodologies

· Deep knowledge of scrum tools – Jira experience desirable

· Excellent analytical skills

· Release coordination

· Be able to articulate complex system interactions through diagrams and crisp documentation to a wide spectrum of audiences

· Ability to understand the technical aspects of the software, including understanding of code to be able to understand the business logic, understand technical architecture

· Produce artifacts – business flow diagrams

· Have good understanding of solution architecture and partner with Architects, Business Analysts and tech leads

· Have end to end knowledge of system interactions and be able to articulate well to different audiences both technical and non-technical

· Prod incidents analysis – Splunk queries, build dashboards/alerts

· Good knowledge of Behavior Driven Development – Gherkin/Cucumber

· Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related technology subject area.
