Our ideal candidate would possess a broad range of engineering skills including the ability to work closely with developers, customers, users, and partners to rapidly define, design, document, and verify solutions to support a broad range of customer needs.Role and ResponsibilitiesCommunicate (through written documents and verbal briefs) with technical and non-technical personnelFind innovative solutions to technical architecture, dataflow, and system-performance issues in secure environmentsDerive requirements from high level mission needsDesign interfaces involving disparate data formats and system protocolsDocument system architectures and processesDesign ontologies and/or normalization approaches that support dynamic data transformationsDefine and document O&M SOPsDefine verification criteria and test plansPerform system integration, and/or verification and validation tasksConfigure network interfaces and OS-level firewallsDevelop user and support level training guidesEducation and ExperiencePosses a minimum of a TOP SECRET clearanceTen (10) years of experience in the areas described in the position description, with emphasis on:Documenting system build and operational proceduresPerforming system integration, and/or verification and validation tasksAutomating deployment and configuration changes for scalability and reproducibility using tools such as bash-scripts or python scriptsFamiliarity with technologies/programminglanguages such as Java, Elastic, Docker, etc.Demonstrated experience with software development, installation, and integration activitiesAbilities and CompetenciesSelf-motivated and eager to work intently to satisfy mission requirementsAdaptable and has the desire to maintain our company cultureAbility to effectively communicate in verbal and written communicationsAbility to multitask and adjust priorities as neededIn accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for these positions is $150,000 to $200,000.
