Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Fort Gordon, Georgia.
Responsibilities:
- Primary duties with providing Systems Engineering support for Ground Intelligence Support Activity (GISA)
- Functions as the primary on-site Subject Matter Expert for GISA's Intelligence Architecture to include: Converged Infrastructure (CI) Distributed Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (DPED) Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) environment and Distributed Common Ground System-Army Services.
- Primary POC to support troubleshooting and mitigating Intelligence Architecture issues.
- Provides in-depth technical support to assess issues and provide solutions for problems.
- Capable to provide expert service support through interface with CONUS based engineers for problem resolution or new feature creation.
- Capable to perform root cause analysis for user problems, through duplication, using product designs, code, or specifications, as necessary.
- Provides technical support for system maintenance, backup and resiliency planning. Identifies and documents operational issues and implements rectified operational solutions.
- Collaborates in a team environment to leverage and coordinate with DoD and contract network engineers and field operations support technicians in Germany, Hawaii, and CONUS.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience; Masters and seven (7) years or more experience ; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience; four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of degree.
Required Clearance:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with CI Poly; US Citizenship required.
Required Skills:
- Proven success in a technical leadership role within Intelligence programs and/or the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Strong background in mission support.
- Familiarity with Army Intelligence-specific technologies and programs, such as the Army Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) platforms and the High Accuracy Detection and Exploitation System (HADES).
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate technical efforts across diverse stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience collaborating with senior leadership and external customers in the defense and intelligence sectors.
Desired Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of all-source intelligence, signals intelligence (SIGINT), and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) applications.
- Experience managing Army Intelligence programs and projects, particularly those requiring integration with advanced sensor and data systems.
- Proven expertise in complex systems engineering projects, program management, or advanced requirements development
