We are seeking a highly capable and detail -oriented Senior Systems Engineer<\/b> to play a dual role across key delivery projects. This position combines lead business analysis responsibilities<\/b> for client -facing initiatives with end -to -end ownership of the systems engineering lifecycle<\/b>, from requirements definition through to system verification and acceptance.<\/span>

This role is critical in ensuring that solutions are accurately specified, thoroughly validated, and aligned with client expectations, proposed solutions, and product capabilities.<\/span>

The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a structured engineering mindset, and hands -on leadership across multidisciplinary teams. You will work closely with product management, solution architecture, engineering, verification, and delivery teams to ensure complex back -office system requirements are clearly defined, translated into actionable specifications, and validated through rigorous testing processes.<\/span>

Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/b>
<\/p>

• Lead the systems engineering function across delivery projects, owning the full lifecycle from requirements development through to verification and acceptance<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Act as the lead business analyst on key projects, gathering, analysing, and translating business needs into detailed system requirements<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Produce and maintain high -quality systems engineering documentation, including:<\/span>
  <\/li>
  • Requirements specifications<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Interface control documents<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Use cases, user stories, and workflow documentation<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Requirements traceability matrices<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Verification and validation plans<\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>
  • Collaborate with solution architects and product teams to ensure requirements are feasible, aligned with solution designs, and clearly understood<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Facilitate cross -functional workshops with internal teams, client stakeholders, and third -party vendors<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Oversee system verification activities, including test planning, test case development, and validation of delivered functionality<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ensure full traceability between requirements, design, development, and testing outcomes<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support defect triage, impact assessment, and continuous solution refinement throughout delivery<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, business analysts, and project teams<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Contribute directly to project delivery to ensure successful end -to -end outcomes<\/span>

    Experience Requirements<\/span><\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Proven ability to operate effectively in environments with ambiguity and shifting priorities<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 7+ years’ experience in systems engineering, business analysis, or technical requirements leadership roles<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong background in requirements definition, systems design, and verification/validation processes<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience working on large -scale enterprise systems, ideally involving high -volume financial transactions<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Exposure to tolling or transportation back -office systems is advantageous<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Demonstrated ability to run requirements workshops and produce clear, structured documentation<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Familiarity with SDLC frameworks, including Agile methodologies<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar requirements management platforms<\/span>
