Location Requirement: Must reside within commuting distance of the Twin Cities and be available for regular in-person meetings, collaboration, and community engagement.
The annual salary range for this position is at $90,000 - $115,000. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining salary; therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of other benefits and earned time off that vary depending on part-time or full-time status.
The Senior Systems Engineer leads the design, planning, and implementation of the organization's systems architecture, including compute, storage, and disaster recovery environments. This role partners closely with internal IT teams and external vendors to ensure reliable day-to-day operations, optimize system performance, and support evolving business needs.
Responsible for maintaining a secure, scalable, and high-performing IT infrastructure, providing Tier 3 support for complex hardware and software issues, and driving continuous improvement across systems and processes. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that the organization's technology environment is resilient, efficient, and aligned to support staff and operational priorities.
This position reports to the IT Systems Engineer Manager. The incumbent interacts regularly with branch and Association leaders while providing engineering point of contact for support on critical incidents as well as providing solutions for various business issues.
