Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems and Network Administrator who can help maintain and enhance our Azure, Meraki, VMware, and SonicWall environments. The Systems and Network Administrator will be responsible for supporting and maintaining Modern Disposal's servers, networks, cloud services, and critical systems across multiple facilities. This role will provide advanced technical support, implement infrastructure improvements, and ensure the reliability and security of our operational technology. This individual will also be responsible for resolving Help Desk tickets.

Bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science
6+ years of professional experience in systems or network administration
6+ years hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Azure / Azure AD / Microsoft 365
Cisco Meraki switches and security appliances
Manage virtualized infrastructure using VMware, vCenter, Hyper-V
Configure and maintain Meraki switches, routers, fiber converters, firewalls, SonicWall network security appliances and VPN
Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Windows SQL Server, Linux Server, Windows Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, wireless, and internet connectivity
Deep experience troubleshooting servers, network and cloud-integrated systems
Expert with Ubiquiti device configuration and deployment
Ability to program in .Net, PHP and SQL
Working understanding of Terminal Server configuration and application deployment
Manage endpoint protection, EDR/XDR platforms, vulnerability management, and security monitoring tools. Plus the ability to investigate possible security threats and implement solutions
