Job Summary
Position responsible for programming complex operating systems and utility packages in support of development projects and business objectives.
The Senior Systems Program Analyst is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and modernizing complex server environments, operating systems, and cloud infrastructure critical to Memorial Hermann's business and patient care operations. This role focuses on troubleshooting server and cloud system issues, responding to and resolving outages, managing support tickets, and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to ensure infrastructure reliability and performance. In addition to core enterprise server administration, this position serves as a key technical resource for Microsoft 365 engineering, focusing on the deployment, administration, and optimization of Exchange Online, hybrid mail flow validation, cloud migrations, and identity integration. The ideal candidate is an experienced systems administrator with strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and deep knowledge of automation, infrastructure technologies, and M365 cloud architecture. This position also participates in an on-call rotation and serves as a technical resource and mentor while supporting projects and strategic operational initiatives across the organization.

Increasingly responsible experience with technical skills in a large, complex corporate Information System
Advanced knowledge of mainframe, minicomputer, microcomputer, networking and telecommunications strategies, environments, equipment, operating systems, development tools and methodologies.
Principal Accountabilities
Installs, tests, debugs, customizes and tunes more complex operating system and utility packages.
Develops, prioritizes and executes projects according to established schedules and timeframes.
Follows and enforces technical and documentation standards
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and techniques in supporting other systems and application programmers in projects and complex problem solving efforts.
Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
