Senior Tanium Engineer Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP Resiliency Validation Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Tanium Engineer to design, implement, and operate a continuous resiliency validation program for Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and supporting infrastructure services. The engineer will leverage Tanium to develop endpoint visibility, compliance monitoring, health validation checks, dashboards, reporting, and automated remediation workflows integrated with Ansible. This role ensures critical authentication, name resolution, and IP address management services remain resilient during component, infrastructure, and site-level failures. The candidate will work closely with Active Directory, Network, Security, Infrastructure, and Automation teams to implement continuous monitoring and validation capabilities across enterprise environments.


Required Qualifications Technical Experience
• 5+ years of Tanium administration and engineering experience. • Experience developing custom Tanium sensors, packages, saved questions, and actions. • Experience with Tanium Interact, Comply, Impact, Reporting, and related platform modules. • Tanium Automate experience preferred. • Strong PowerShell scripting experience. • Experience integrating Tanium with automation and IT operations platforms. • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise endpoint environments.

Infrastructure Expertise
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server, Group Policy, and domain controller operations. • Working knowledge of AD replication, Global Catalog architecture, FSMO roles, DNS architecture and troubleshooting, DHCP failover designs, and Windows network services. • Experience validating enterprise resiliency and high-availability solutions. Automation Skills • Experience with Ansible automation. • Ability to develop remediation workflows and operational automation. • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code concepts and configuration management.

Preferred Qualifications
• Tanium Certified Professional or equivalent certification is preferred. • Microsoft Windows Server certifications are preferred. • Experience with enterprise monitoring platforms. • Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments. • Experience conducting resiliency testing, failover exercises, and disaster recovery validation. • Security and compliance monitoring experience.
