Venteon Finance is currently seeking a SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT for a global manufacturing client in Oakland County.
REQUIREMENTS for the Senior Tax Accountant role
Bachelor s degree in Accounting
4+ years of related Tax experience in either Public Accounting, or Corporate Tax
Federal and State Tax Compliance experience
CPA or MST preferred
Exposure to Income Tax Accounting preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES of the Senior Tax Accountant role
Assist in maintaining tax calendar to effectively track statutory and internal due dates for all tax filings.
Evaluate book to tax differences related to fixed assets; utilize software to compute federal and state tax asset depreciation reports.
Responsible for preparing the Company s tax provision and related disclosures.
Research inquiries from government agencies regarding filings, compliance, and other claims.
Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulations, and current tax developments.
Assist in calculation and review of payroll related tax issues.
Other duties and special projects as requested.
