Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and review of complex tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop strategic tax planning solutions that align with their financial goals and optimize tax outcomes.
  • Stay informed on the latest tax laws and regulations, providing proactive advice and updates to clients and team members.
  • Mentor and guide junior accountants, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate audits and resolve any tax-related inquiries.
  • Analyze financial data to identify potential tax savings opportunities and recommend actionable strategies to clients.
  • Prepare detailed tax reports and documentation, maintaining organized records for internal and client use, ensuring transparency and accountability in all processes.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required, ensuring you bring the highest level of expertise to our team.
  • Five to 10 years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating your ability to handle complex tax matters with confidence.
  • Proven track record of preparing and reviewing intricate tax returns for both individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Ability to develop strategic tax planning solutions that align with clients' financial goals, optimizing their tax outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws, allowing you to provide proactive advice and updates to clients and team members.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding junior accountants, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth within the team.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, external auditors, and regulatory bodies, facilitating audits and resolving inquiries efficiently.
