About Us
FACT Professional Inc. is a growing CPA firm in the San Fernando Valley providing tax, accounting, payroll, and advisory services to individuals and businesses. We’ve built a team that genuinely enjoys working together - our people come from diverse backgrounds and that mix of perspectives makes us sharper and more creative in how we serve clients.
We take culture seriously. That means monthly social events (bowling nights, game days, and more) and an annual company retreat - we just got back from a two-day trip together. We work hard, but we like showing up.
Who You’ll Work With
Our clients are people who want more than a service provider - they want a reliable team they can truly count on. That includes:
- Entrepreneurs building and growing their businesses
- Established companies seeking consistency and dependable support
- Professionals managing both business and personal financial needs
- Individuals and families planning confidently for the future
- Nonprofit leaders dedicated to mission-driven work
You’ll build real relationships across that mix - not just process returns.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and review Federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, and C corporations
- Handle multi-state tax filings and research complex technical issues
- Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and resolve tax matters - including responding to IRS and state notices
- Review financial statements and bookkeeping records in connection with tax engagements
- Identify tax planning opportunities and deliver practical, actionable recommendations
- Collaborate with the Head of Tax on complex engagements and firm-wide tax initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Active EA or CPA license and valid PTIN (required)
- 5+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
- Strong working knowledge of Federal and California tax law
- Experience with individual, partnership, S corp, and corporate returns; multi-state filings
- Ability to independently manage engagements from start to finish with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong client communication and organizational skills
- Experience with ProSeries and QuickBooks is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $80,000-$98,000 depending on licensure and experience
- Monthly performance-based bonus program
- Medical insurance
- Paid vacation, sick time, and holidays
- 401(k) with profit-sharing plan
- Opportunities for professional growth within a stable, growing firm
The Role
This is a full-time, in-office position in Canoga Park. We’ve built a team that actually likes showing up, and we’re looking for someone who values that too. You’ll have direct client contact from day one and work closely with a collaborative tax department that takes pride in getting things right.
If you’re an experienced EA or CPA who wants meaningful work, good people, and room to grow - we’d love to hear from you.
