Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals and businesses.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients.
  • Assist with audits and respond to tax-related inquiries from clients and authorities.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline tax processes and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and industry trends.
  • Train and mentor junior staff on tax preparation and compliance issues.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA designation, preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation
  • Strong knowledge of federal and CA state tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
