A well-established public accounting firm is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join its tax team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of clients including individuals, small businesses, trusts, and partnerships, with exposure to both compliance and advisory services. Key Responsibilities

·      Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts

·      Perform tax research and provide clear, actionable guidance on complex tax matters

·      Communicate directly with clients to resolve issues, gather documentation, and deliver tax planning strategies

·      Assist in year-round tax projections and strategic tax planning for clients

·      Collaborate with internal team members to ensure timely and accurate service delivery

·      Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality control processes

·      Maintain current knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards

Qualifications

·      CPA license or progress toward CPA highly preferred

·      Minimum of 4–6 years of recent experience in public accounting with a focus on tax

·      Strong knowledge of federal and Pennsylvania state tax codes

·      Experience preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns

·      Proficiency in tax software (e.g., UltraTax, Lacerte, Drake) and cloud-based accounting tools

·      Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

·      Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently or within a team setting
