CNC Milling Machinist Aerospace

Pay: $26.10 $37.00/hr (based on experience)

Responsibilities
Operate CNC milling machines to produce complex aerospace components
Perform full machine setups, tooling changes, and first-piece inspections
Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets, and technical instructions
Work within AS9100 / ISO9001 requirements including documentation, traceability, and lot control
Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, preset gages, and other measuring tools
Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust controls, feeds, speeds, and tooling as needed
Collaborate with Engineering and Programming on new job setups and tool prove-outs
Maintain machines, tools, and work area in a clean and safe condition (6S practices)
Complete production paperwork and report discrepancies to supervision
Support training of team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications (Must Have)
Minimum 3 years CNC milling experience
Experience performing full machine setups
Background machining complex aerospace components (or aerospace manufacturing experience)
Ability to read blueprints and change tooling independently
Strong understanding of precision measurement and tolerances
Work Environment & Requirements
Safety-focused aerospace manufacturing environment
PPE required
Ability to operate multiple machines of similar function
