A growing San Diego boutique CPA firm is adding a Senior Tax Associate to support its expanding tax practice. You will work directly with experienced tax leaders, take ownership of meaningful client work, and build toward a future Manager role.
What Youll Do
Prepare and perform first-level review of partnership, S-corporation, and individual tax returns
Generate Schedule K-1s and assist with partner basis and capital account tracking
Support depreciation schedules, fixed-asset roll-forwards, and cost-segregation work
Research tax issues and draft clear technical memos
Communicate directly with clients to request information, resolve questions, and explain variances
Review work prepared by junior staff and help develop less-experienced team members
What Theyre Looking For
35 years of public-accounting tax experience
Strong hands-on experience with partnership returns and Schedule K-1s
CPA or actively working toward the CPA
Exposure to real estate, construction, closely held businesses, or high-net-worth clients
Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a growing firm where you can help improve processes
