About the Role:
Chan & Company Inc is looking for an experienced and driven Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Culver City, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role in a dynamic accounting firm where your expertise will make a real impact for clients and colleagues alike.



Responsibilities:

• Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts
• Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio
• Lead, mentor, and develop junior tax staff and associates
• Oversee tax compliance engagements from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Research and interpret tax regulations, rulings, and legislation to advise clients and internal teams
• Manage client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact for tax-related matters
• Identify and implement tax savings strategies and risk mitigation opportunities

Requirements:

• CPA license required; MST or advanced degree in Taxation preferred
• 12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
• Strong knowledge of federal and multi-state tax compliance and planning
• Experience managing and reviewing returns for high-net-worth individuals and business entities
• Proficiency with tax software such as Lacerte Tax Software, or similar platforms
• Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
