Venteon is currently seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager for a multinational company based in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Requirements of the Senior Tax Manager
Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance required
Masters of Taxation preferred
7+ total years of relevant public or corporate tax experience
CPA preferred
Knowledge of Tax Accounting principles including deferred taxes, valuation allowances, rate reconciliations and ASC 740
Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision and SAP is strongly preferred.
Tax audit management, including interfacing with IRS and state authorities

Federal and State direct tax compliance
Tax Provision / IFRS reporting
Tax Audits
Tax Planning/Transfer pricing
Special Projects
Supervise and research sales and use tax issues
Support the valuation allowance analysis and prepare documentation for review
Review complex workpapers (book tax differences, consolidation computations, tax attributes) prepared by team members.
Review draft federal and state returns prepared by the service provider; monitor estimated payments, extensions, and notices.
Maintain internal control narratives, control matrices, and evidence binders for provision and compliance processes.
