A leading public accounting firm is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to help lead a growing West Palm Beach office. This role will focus on high-net-worth individuals, private client tax, and private equity clients, with responsibilities spanning complex tax compliance, planning, client advisory, staff management, and business development.
The ideal candidate will bring strong public accounting experience, technical tax expertise, and the executive presence needed to manage client relationships and support office growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review complex partnership tax returns and high-net-worth individual tax returns.
Provide tax planning and compliance services to private client and private equity clients.
Research complex tax matters and advise clients on technical tax issues.
Assist the broader tax practice in resolving day-to-day tax questions.
Communicate with federal and state tax authorities as needed.
Manage engagement planning, timelines, deliverables, and client expectations.
Mentor, train, and review the work of junior staff.
Build and maintain strong client relationships.
Support business development and growth initiatives for the office.
Deliver high-quality client service in a collaborative public accounting environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
6 8+ years of recent public accounting tax experience.
Strong tax compliance and research background, preferably with private equity clients.
Experience with high-net-worth individual tax and partnership tax returns.
CPA or CPA eligibility required.
Master s in Taxation preferred.
Strong client service skills and executive presence.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Strong communication, technical, and analytical skills.
Experience working in a paperless environment preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
