Job Summary for Senior Technical/AI Focused Accountant

- Prepare and/or review complex balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journal entries, utilizing advanced Excel functions.
- Support and execute the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance and streamline accounting workflows, including managing AI-assisted projects and reviewing AI-generated outputs for accuracy.
- Train and mentor staff accountants; review their work for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain the general ledger for related-party entities.
- Prepare supporting documentation for external auditors during annual audits.
- Serve as backup for Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
- Perform ad hoc financial reporting and analysis as needed.
- Identify and recommend improvements to current accounting processes.
- Utilize NetSuite (preferred) and maintain proficiency with advanced Excel functions.
- Ensure compliance with private/corporate accounting standards.
- Work in a hybrid environment based in Coral Springs, FL.

- Bachelor's degree required; CPA and NetSuite experience preferred.
- 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience required.
- Demonstrate strong organization, analytical, and detail orientation.
