This role is essential to developing the strategy to meet our revenue and business goals.

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Lead focused on technical product marketing for compete. The ideal candidate enjoys digging into products, understanding technical details and how they work, and ability to lead cross-functional teams. This role represents a highly visible opportunity to influence and contribute to the Copilot business at a strategic level. We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Marketing Lead who enjoys being at the forefront of driving high-impact product decisions. You will partner with Product Managers, Research, Business Planning and other key teams. This role will focus on leading marketing efforts to inform product strategy through deep competitor research, customer insights, product decisions, shaping the landscape of how to differentiate and win over competitors.

As the Senior Technical Product Marketing Lead, you will be a strategic leader responsible for influencing across disciplines, co-lead product research, and deeply understand multiple products. Your role will be crucial to communicating industry trends for various audiences, including leadership, and ability to digest a variety of inputs to a create a concise, actionable snapshot summaries.

Responsibilities

Product & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct deep technical and business analysis of Microsoft and competitor AI solutions across productivity and business process domains.

  • Translate competitive insights into differentiated messaging, including battlecards and enablement assets for field and partner teams.

  • Partner with compete and engineering teams to anticipate market shifts and proactively address competitive risks.

Technical Storytelling & Content Development

  • Develop high-impact content such as whitepapers, battlecards, internal messaging frameworks, and solution narratives.

  • Gather and incorporate stakeholder feedback to refine messaging and identify new differentiation opportunities.

  • Align messaging across marketing, engineering, field, and product/engineering stakeholders to ensure consistency and clarity.

Go‑to‑Market Execution

  • Lead product launches and solution play execution for AI Business Solutions, including Copilot and Agents.

  • Drive field readiness through training, enablement sessions, and scalable content delivery.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sellers and customer-facing teams, supporting customer engagements and field collaboration.

  • Participate in executive briefings, customer discussions, and analyst interactions.

Qualifications

Required/minimum Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in product marketing
  • OR Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in product marketing
  • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or preferred Qualifications

  • Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable business insights that influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience crafting written and verbal data-driven narratives that support decision-making.
  • Experience tailoring messaging for executive, technical, and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with diverse stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Business Planning, Finance, Marketing).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and/or Copilot Studio (e.g., usage, capabilities, or deployment).
  • Experience in competitive intelligence, technical sales enablement, or a related analytical and storytelling function.

Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
