As a Senior Technical Program Manager for Amazon Global Logistics (AGL), youll lead complex cross-organizational initiatives that revolutionize e-commerce through innovative global logistics solutions. Youll drive programs that help break down barriers for selling partners, enabling them to reach hundreds of millions of customers worldwide through our highly-available, scalable distributed systems.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex technical programs across multiple engineering teams and stakeholders
  • Design and implement sustainable processes for cross-functional program management
  • Drive development of software solutions that optimize global fulfillment and cross-border selling
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Manage program scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical path elements
  • Coordinate release schedules and ensure successful delivery of technical solutions
  • Partner with engineering teams to build scalable, distributed systems
  • Present progress and metrics to senior leadership

A day in the life Your day might start with a strategic planning session with engineering teams, followed by coordination meetings with cross-functional stakeholders. Youll spend time analyzing program metrics, identifying potential risks, and developing mitigation strategies. Youll collaborate with global teams to remove friction points in our fulfillment processes and work on innovative solutions to enhance the selling partner experience. Your role will involve both tactical execution and strategic planning to drive AGLs mission forward.
