Senior Technical Program Manager
12-month contract with the possibility to extend.
Remote (MST)
Pay Range: $60.00 - $70.00per hr.
We need a Technical Program Manager; the ideal candidate will be a senior-level professional with a strong background in technical program and project management, particularly within software development environments. The focus will be to sunset a publishing platform (LDS Publisher, MarkLogic).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead programs/projects through initiation, development, and deployment
- Define scope, identify stakeholders, develop plans, manage resources, and track milestones
- Identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and ensure quality control
- Provide technical expertise in software development life cycle processes including iteration planning, estimation, and release management
- Align project execution with business goals and compliance standards
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Work Experience:
- 5+ years of technical program/project management experience
Required Skills:
- Experience with enterprise systems and development/agile processes.
- A strong technical background (ideally, 2+ years as an engineer/developer equivalent)
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
- Self-driven and capable of moving a technical project to completion.
Bonus Skills:
- 3+ years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Master's degree
Worthiness Qualification:- Must be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and currently temple worthy.
