Akkodis is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will lead cloud migration, delivery governance, and stakeholder coordination to ensure successful execution of Azure-based technology initiatives.
Rate Range: $53/Hour to $56/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Senior Technical Project Manager Job Responsibilities include:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Azure-based cloud and infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
Oversee cloud lifecycle management, including Azure environment setup, application assessments, workload migrations, and secure cloud configurations.
Facilitate Agile and Scrum ceremonies, manage project backlogs, allocate technical resources, and remove delivery roadblocks.
Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, track resource expenditures, and drive Azure cost optimization initiatives.
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, architects, engineers, and external vendors to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
Track project risks, dependencies, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing executive-level reporting and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of Technical Project Management experience, with a strong focus on cloud adoption and IT infrastructure delivery.
Hands-on understanding of Microsoft Azure services, cloud architecture, data analytics, and DevOps practices.
Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum projects, managing cross-functional teams, and utilizing project management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
