Senior Technical Project Manager 

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 months

Seeking for a Senior Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver complex IT projects with multiple teams and work streams. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

• Manage and deliver large multi-stream projects valued at $10M or greater.
• Coordinate with IT Division management and staff for resourcing.
• Communicate timelines and expectations to technical and business staff.
• Facilitate collaboration among multi-functional technical teams.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors, including contract management.
• Adhere to project management practices and governance requirements.
• Maintain project budget, plans, tasks, schedules, risks, and status.
• Ensure documentation of requirements and use cases.
• Prepare test objectives, plans, and cases for assigned projects.
• Manage project milestones and deliverables for on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Define and communicate progress with project metrics.
• Support system and application training efforts.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Experience managing large multi-stream projects valued at $10M or greater - 10 Years
• IT infrastructure delivery experience (Networking, physical plant, vendor management, site provisioning) - 10 Years
• Experience in Scaled Agile and Waterfall Project Management - 10 Years
• PMP Certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server) - 10 Years
• Experience managing high visibility and high stakes projects - 10 Years
• Experience coordinating with external teams - 10 Years
• Experience managing projects as part of a larger program under PMO governance - 10 Years
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, MIS, Project Management, or Finance/Business - 4 Years
