Seeking for an Senior Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to support a large-scale modernization program transitioning toward a modern microservices architecture. This role will initially focus on traditional project management activities, including project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, risk management, dependency tracking, and status reporting. As Agile teams mature, the position will gradually assume additional Scrum Master responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Create and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, resource plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate project activities across development, QA, cloud, security, engineering, and operations teams.
Track project scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
Provide clear and timely project status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
Identify project risks and issues early and develop appropriate mitigation and resolution plans.
Drive process improvements to strengthen project delivery, reporting, documentation, and team collaboration.
Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Work with Product Owners and Business Analysts to improve backlog organization and readiness.
Guide and support teams as they transition toward more structured Scrum and Agile delivery practices.
Monitor and track project and development activities using Azure DevOps Boards or similar tools.
Support developers and technical teams performing ongoing ticket-based work.
Coordinate release planning, sequencing, dependencies, and delivery readiness.
Support modernization initiatives involving microservices and API-driven architectures.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of project management experience in technical environments using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
