Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Writer with expertise in API and Microservices documentation to support our Open Banking initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical writing skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation for both internal teams and external partners. This role requires close collaboration with Product Owners, Engineering, Business, and Compliance teams to create high-quality documentation and communicate the value of API-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including:
  • API Documentation
  • User Guides
  • Technical Manuals
  • Release Notes
  • Knowledge Base Articles
  • Integration Guides
• Create clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for API and Microservices-based applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Software Engineers, Business Teams, and Compliance teams to gather technical information and document product capabilities.
• Support Open Banking initiatives by documenting API-driven business use cases and value streams across the Open Finance ecosystem.
• Work closely with stakeholders to develop documentation aligned with product roadmaps and business objectives.
• Ensure documentation follows industry standards, best practices, and organizational guidelines.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings to understand requirements and provide documentation support throughout the product lifecycle.
• Maintain version-controlled documentation and update content based on product enhancements and releases.

Required Skills

• 5 8 years of experience as a Technical Writer.
• Strong experience documenting APIs and Microservices.
• Experience creating API documentation using tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, or similar platforms.
• Excellent technical writing, editing, and documentation skills.
• Ability to understand technical architectures and convert them into business-friendly documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in the Banking or Financial Services domain.
• Knowledge of Open Banking/Open Finance concepts.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Familiarity with API lifecycle management and integration platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting API product documentation for enterprise applications.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
