Senior Technical Writer

Position Overview

Create high-quality technical documentation and play a key role in our proposal development process. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical writing skills with the ability to collaborate on bid strategies and ensure compliant, competitive proposals. The successful candidate will have no less than ten (10) years of experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, and technical services within defense-related industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and publish comprehensive technical documentation and reference materials

• Collect, interpret, and translate complex technical information into clear documentation for proposals and bids

• Participate actively in capture team strategy sessions, contributing insights on messaging and competitive positioning

• Ensure proposal strategies are effectively implemented through compelling written content

• Draft and refine technical sections of proposals, maintaining consistency with overall messaging

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather and validate technical information

• Maintain proposal compliance with all client requirements and specifications

• Participate in all phases of the proposal process, from kickoff to final submission

• Respond to technical questions during proposal development and review cycles

• Edit and proofread final documentation to ensure accuracy and readability
