Senior Technician, General Facilities Maintenance - CRE (Senior Plumber)

Position Summary

Performs routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, proper functionality, and aesthetics of facilities, equipment, or fixtures by following established preventive maintenance schedules and guidelines; inspecting, cleaning, and repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures; observing and documenting signs of wear and tear; gathering capital expense information; recommending repair needs to eliminate ongoing and future repairs; determining replacement needs; and documenting preventive maintenance activities.

About Plumbing Team/ Campus Operations

Team operates as a service department. The purpose of the campus operations plumbing team is to fix and maintain all the corporate real estate building systems. This role will be a journeyman or higher positions able to make needed judgement calls to ensure day-to-day operations are maintained. This role will aid the Lead technician where needed as well as mentor junior roles on this team.

What you'll do:

• Responsible for responding to trouble call issues that come up.
• Assist in upgrade or update projects as needed.
• Will help with creating a preventative maintenance schedule for various equipment on campus
• Will eventually be on an on-call rotation.

What you'll bring:

• OSHA/Safety mindset is top priority within campus operations

• Journeyman or higher certification for plumbing trade

• 2-3 years of experience in plumbing

• Valid Driver's License

• Service tech mindset to address customer needs and concerns

• Ability to adapt to change and keep making forward progress

• Computer skills for ticketing systems and tracking spreadsheets

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
