    The Senior Territory Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing a sales territory by promoting BVI''s full portfolio of single-use consumables used in cataract and LASIK surgery. This role focuses on building relationships with ophthalmologists and other key decision makers to grow BVI''s portfolio across hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and private ophthalmic and optometric clinics.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build relationships to understand customers'' unmet needs and position BVI''s portfolio as a value-based solution.
    • Prospect, cold call, and visit customer sites as needed to achieve territory sales objectives, delivering effective presentations to both small and large audiences using advanced electronic sales platforms.
    • Demonstrate confidence and competence selling in the surgical suite, gaining surgical evaluations with new and existing customers.
    • Provide recommendations on surgical technique and instrument selection to surgeons evaluating BVI products.
    • Strategically position multiple products to customers, presenting BVI''s portfolio as a comprehensive value-based solution to their surgical and clinical needs.
    • Utilize CRM software to maintain customer data and daily activities, leveraging sales reports, market data, and an understanding of the competitive landscape to establish short- and long-term territory goals.
    • Work collaboratively with internal partners to identify additional ways to deliver value to customers.

    Qualification

    • Bachelor''s degree in Business or a related medical field, with a minimum of 3 years of healthcare sales experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
    • Skilled in consultative, value-based selling.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage surgeons, office staff, surgical staff, and other key stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage sales data to drive territory strategy and customer engagement.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional partners.
    • Ability to resolve complex issues with a high degree of initiative.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Self-starter with excellent planning and time management skills, and a strong sense of urgency to meet and exceed business objectives.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
    • Ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel, as required.
