Hybrid Test Automation EngineerThis is a hybrid role with a requirement to be onsite for a minimum of 3 days in a week in White Plains, NY.Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited school, or equivalent.Preferred Certifications/Licenses: Testing certifications like ISTQB, Tricentis TOSCA certifications is highly preferred.Required Skills:10+ years of applicable experience as a test automation engineerStrong experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts in Tricentis Tosca using TCD approachExtensive experience in integration testing including APIExtensive experience in defect tracking and reportingHands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline using Azure DevOpsAbility to write and execute SQL queries to validate data in databasesFamiliarity with different types of databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB)Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or GatlingKnowledgeable with waterfall and agile methodologyKnowledge of API testing tools like Postman, SoapUI, RestAssured, or KarateUnderstanding of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and DOMKnowledge of browser developer tools for debugging and inspecting web elementsStrong communication and collaboration skillsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailsUnderstanding of mobile OS platforms (iOS, Android)Desired Skills:Experience in SAP/S4 HANA testing especially ISU- Utilities, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD is a plusKnowledge with mobile testing frameworks and tools like Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, or Robot Framework is a plus.Proficiency in one or more programming languages commonly used in test automation, such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Ruby, or VBScript would be plus.Knowledge of version controlling like GitHub repository is a plusProject Overview: The need is to support testing for BAU initiatives and backfill partly for Testing Luminate resource.Job Functions & Responsibilities:Test Engineer will play a key role in supporting the testing activities on the project, review vendor test activities and deliverables.Facilitate automation testing in Tricentis Tosca with DEX environmentCreate, update and support automation scripts using Tricentis ToscaDevelop and execute manual and automated test casesImplement test strategies, plans, and frameworks across Client initiativesSupport defect management triaging the issuesCreate and review Functional test plans. scenarios and scriptsPerform functional, regression, integration, performance, and UAT testingLeverage AI-driven testing tools for test generation and defect predictionSupport testing of AI/ML models, including output validation and data quality checksCollaborate in Technical Requirements documentCreate Requirements Traceability MatrixAssist team with stakeholder communicationsWeekly status reports.
