Position Summary:
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will lead testing efforts on complex software projects, designing and executing comprehensive test strategies. You will mentor junior engineers, perform advanced testing (manual and automated), and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet functional, performance, and security requirements. Your experience will enable you to identify risks, propose improvements in TE processes, and ensure that software quality is consistently maintained throughout the development lifecycle and maximizing testing efficiency through automation.

State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:
$83,670 to $161,815 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)
$76,064 to $147,104 (NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)
$68,457 to $132,394 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)
The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.

Experienced with the following:
Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills: Able to handle complex troubleshooting and problem resolution across multiple systems. Utilizes strong analytical skills to identify root causes and propose effective solutions. Takes initiative to resolve cross-functional issues.
Requirements Analysis: Ability to analyze complex product requirements and works independently to define the testing approach. Partners with stakeholders to ensure all aspects of the requirements are covered by testing, addressing ambiguities and gaps.
Automation Scripting: Ability to write and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
API Testing: Strong experience with API testing, including using tools like Postman or SoapUI for validating functionality and performance.
Collaboration and Communication: Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as on executing task-specific collaboration, conveying precise technical details, responding to immediate issues, and ensure clarity in resolving task-level challenges.
Adaptability and Flexibility: Experienced with leading adaptation to changing requirements, code designs and implementation changes, new technologies, methods to solve problems, shift priorities, workstyle and responsibilities.
Time Management: Ability to manage large, complex testing projects with multiple dependencies. Coordinates priorities effectively across teams and ensures deadlines are consistently met, even in high-pressure environments.
Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of domain-specific knowledge and business requirements, influencing the direction of testing to ensure it aligns with strategic goals and provides tangible value to the organization.
Proficient with the following:
Testing Methodologies: Able to demonstrate advanced knowledge of a wide range of testing types, including complex test scenarios and automation techniques. Leads test strategy decisions and implements best practices across multiple testing methodologies.
Attention to Detail: Able to demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, consistently identifying subtle issues and potential improvements that may affect the product quality or user experience.
Defect Tracking Management and Documentation tools: Extensive experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA, Confluence, including driving the resolution process and escalating critical defects.
