Senior Test Engineer, Continental Automotive Systems, Inc. (d/b/a
AUMOVIO), Deer Park, IL:
THE POSITION
Conducting system testing of communication technologies for Engine
Control Unit verification, validation and bug reporting. Design,
implement and maintain system tests. Define and create manual test
scenarios to ensure they cover system requirements. Define and create
automation test cases. Create scripts for automated testing. Engage in
customer support including hosting meetings, participating in triage
sessions, and validating customer tickets. Design and prototype tools
for automation. Define, connect and configure the elements of the test
benches.
Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per month.
Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, $107,724.00 -
$141,680 per year.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering,
Computer Science, or a related field, and 2 years of related work
experience.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of
the following:
- Creating test scripts in Python, C# and C++;
- Designing automated testing architecture to support vehicle
telematics;
- Triaging systems software product issues;
- Vehicle system architecture experience, including CAN Bus, Power
system, Telematic communications, and test equipment;
- Vehicle systems test experience, including developing strategies,
developing test plans, executing testing, and planning for new
products and features;
- Vector-CANoe including CAN open environment;
- DOORS Next Gen (DNG) including Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements
System Next Generation;
- Rational Quality Manager (RQM);
- Engineering Test Management (ETM);
- CMW500 (Radio Communicator Tester from Rhode and Schwarz);
- User Experience Monitor (UXM) including Radio Communicator Tester
from Keysight;
- Qualcomm eXtensible Diagnostic Monitor (QXDM);
- Qualcomm Communications Analyzer Tool (QCAT);
- Qualcomm Packet Communication Analyzer Tool (QPCAT);
- Qualcomm Product Support Tools (QPST);
- Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL); and
- WireShark.
Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per month.
