Lead Testing and Verification of Power Converters, Power Protection Products, and DC Power Distribution Systems
Lead testing and verification of power converters, power protection products and DC power distribution systems; develop and maintain stage-specific test plans and protocols per product requirements, design specs and relevant domestic & international standards.
Conduct multi-dimensional tests covering electrical performance, firmware, EMC, safety, reliability and components per schedules; identify and report issues, and support designers in troubleshooting.
Process, analyze and interpret test data to pinpoint potential risks and performance bottlenecks; deliver high-quality test reports & summaries, and maintain the defect database.
Partner closely with the R&D team to root-cause test-identified issues, track progress and drive defect closure.
Ensure agile and cost-effective test execution aligned with project delivery timelines.
Contribute to the development roadmap of the our new innovation lab, and advance its automation and digital transformation.
Establish the R&D test case database and streamlined test workflows to achieve end-to-end test coverage.
Mentor junior technical engineers.
qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering & Automation or related disciplines. • 3+ years of testing experience in power electronic products (Power conversion, solid-state circuit breakers, power distribution protection systems); Senior Test Engineers require 5+ years of relevant experience plus 2+ years of project leadership experience. • In-depth knowledge of the working principles, system architecture and key parameters of converter systems & solid-state circuit breakers, as well as familiarity with power electronic topologies. • Proficiency in testing methodologies and equipment operation for power converters (grid-code included), solid-state circuit breakers and power distribution protection products. • Knowledge of functions and standards for power conversion and protection related products, e.g. IEC62477-1, IEC61850, UL1741, GB/T34120/34133, IEC60068 series, EN50549, VDE4105/4110 and LV switchgear standards (GB/T14048, GB7251, IEC60947, UL489, IEC60068 series). • Strong team spirit, open-mindedness and the ability to build trust within teams. • Excellent execution capacity to drive project progress in fast-changing environments. • Flexibility for short-distance business trips. • Proficiency in building automated test platforms with LabVIEW. • Fluent in English and Chinese.
