Shift: Night Shift (Training on Day Shift 9:00 AM 5:00 PM for the first week)

Summary

The Manufacturing Technician supports production operations by performing testing, calibration, and troubleshooting activities for radiation products in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for monitoring product performance, analyzing technical issues, and ensuring electro-mechanical assemblies meet quality and delivery requirements. The position works closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, maintain operational continuity, and support manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Perform product testing according to established processes and specifications for radiation products.
  • Conduct calibration and testing activities using radiation sources.
  • Monitor product performance during testing and communicate status updates to team members and supervisors.
  • Execute manufacturing activities in accordance with standard procedures while identifying opportunities for process optimization.
  • Test components, modules, and complete systems with varying levels of complexity.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of products and electro-mechanical assemblies while maintaining quality standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for products and manufacturing processes.
  • Independently analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with minimal supervision.
  • Provide guidance and support to associate-level team members during off-shifts to maintain operational continuity.
  • Promote adherence to quality standards, safety practices, and operational procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical certification or Associate Degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 3 years of experience operating and maintaining automated equipment.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a production setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electronic testing principles.
  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot automated equipment.
  • Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and software-related technical data.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to use product documentation, flowcharts, and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound judgment.
  • Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members in a collaborative environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment under varying temperature conditions.
