Job Description:
A Day in the Life
•Perform product testing per defined processes and specifications of our radiation products in a production environment
•Calibration and testing using radiation sources
•Monitor and record performance of products on test and provide status updates to team members and leaders
•Execute activities based on established procedures, while identifying opportunities for optimization
•Test parts of systems, or full systems with typical to advanced test times
•Ensure on-time delivery of modules or electro-mechanical assemblies with the right quality
•Actively contribute to improvements of products and related processes
•Independently trace, analyze, and troubleshoot problems with minimal oversight
•Serve as a reliable point of contact on off-shifts, providing guidance and support to associate-level colleagues to ensure sound decision-making and continuity of operations
•Promote adherence to quality standards, safety practices, and operational best practices across the team
Education
•High school diploma or equivalent required
•Technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
•Required: Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience operating and maintaining automated equipment
•Additional experience in manufacturing, operations, production or related field a plus
•Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a production environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
•Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electronics testing
•Ability to operate and troubleshoot automated equipment
•Ability to analyze and interpret electrical, mechanical, and software technical data
•Strong mechanical proficiency
•High attention to detail and quality
•Advanced systematic problem-solving skills (product documentation, flowcharts, drawings)
•Ability to take initiative, demonstrate sound judgment, and operate with a high level of ownership
•Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
•Effective at guiding and supporting less experienced team members in a collaborative manner
•Flexibility toward changes, with a positive and proactive work attitude
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
•Ability to lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds
•Ability to work in a warehouse environment under various temperature conditions
