Position Summary:
The TAS isacriticalrole in ouruniquecustomer modelto execute the BMS aspiration tobe the BioPharma that delivers the most impactful engagement with Health Care Providers (HCPs), driving adoption of new and existing medicines forappropriate patients.
The primary role of the TAS is to drive demand for BMS medicines within their portfolio for theappropriate patients.To meet the HCPs expectations, the TAS engages them with adifferentiated Customer Experience (Cx) through deeper scientific dialogue on and consistent with label,leveragingnew ways of working and CE^3.
Therolebuilds andmaintainsstrong professionalcredibilitywith regional thought leaders (RTLs) and community-based physicians/HCPs in private practice, medical groups practices, office staff,and otherstakeholdersin the patient care continuumas their primary point of contact.
The TASliaises with otherBMS functions as needed to deliveranoverall higher Customer Experience (Cx)–by meeting HCP needs ina timelyand scientific manner. This role will prioritize the safe andappropriate useof BMS productswhilealsofocusing on overall business resultsandperformanceobjectiveswhileexemplifying BMS values.
The TAS role isfield-based. A TAS isanticipatedto spend 100% of their time in the field with external customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Promotion
Promotes approved indications of BMS products within a defined territory or region to meet or exceed assigned sales targetsin a compliant manner.
Creates demand for BMS medicines by articulatingin a balanced mannerthe clinical and scientific rationale for use of products in appropriate patients.
Engages with and continuouslymaintains/growsa high levelof scientificexpertisein all assigned products and therapeutic areas.
Prepares and successfully implements comprehensive territory and account plans.
Proactively uses available tools such as CE^3 (once implemented) to derive insights and to dynamically inform call plans. Provides feedback on experience using these tools to leadership to enable continuous improvement.
Fair & Balanced ScientificDialogue:
Demonstratesscientificexpertiseand passion in using approvedscientific resources and publications to present information to HCPs and ensures medical accuracy.
Conductsin-officepresentations(e.g.,lunch and learns) and discussesproduct-relatedscientific information withHCPsthat is consistent with label.
Organizes external speaker programs, selecting speakers from list approved by Speakers Bureau andfacilitatingscheduling andlogistics.
Maintainsahigh levelof workingexpertiseon emerging datafor approved indications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Proactivelycollaborateswith other field teams to ensurethebest Customer Experience (Cx) for HCPs.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
Advancedscientificdegreeand/or preferred 5+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology experience as healthcare sales /MSL / HCP / nurse.
Ability to communicate scientific or clinical dataaccurately andconvincinglyto help physicians best serve their patients.
Demonstratedexperience building andmaintainingstrongcredibilitywith key customers, office staff,and others in the customer influence network viaa customer-centricmindset and desire to create positive and differentiated Customer Experience (Cx).
Experience in Neurologypreferred.
Demonstratedstrong capability in account management skill sets, superior selling competencies,and proven sales performancetrack recordof meeting or exceeding goals.

Compensation Overview:
The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
