Senior Thermal Engineer

Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Thermal Engineer for a Semiconductor Manufacturing company based in California. The Senior Thermal Engineer will need to sit on site 5 days per week in Saratoga, CA.

Responsibilities for the Senior Thermal Engineer:

• Lead thermal design and analysis for electronic appliances.
• Utilize tools like Icepak, FloTHERM, and SmartCFD.
• Design and analyze high power SOC liquid cooling systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize thermal performance.
• Document and present thermal analysis results.

Requirements for the Senior Thermal Engineer:

• Bachelor''s or Master''s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in thermal engineering.
• Expertise in liquid cooling systems.
• 3-5 years of experience with thermal design tools.
• Experience with high power SOC liquid cooling design, including open and closed loop systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation for the Senior Thermal Engineer:

• $130,000 - $200,000
