We are seeking an experienced Senior Title Production Officer to oversee the preparation, review, and delivery of title commitments, title policies, and related real estate title documents. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of title insurance, property records, title examination, and closing processes while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all title production activities.

This role serves as a senior resource within the title department, providing guidance to team members, resolving complex title issues, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.

The Ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented title professional with extensive experience in title production and title insurance, capable of handling complex title issues, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and serving as a senior resource for the title operations team.

Responsibilities:

Title Production & Review

  • Prepare, review, and issue title commitments, title reports, and title insurance policies.
  • Analyze title searches, property records, legal descriptions, and public records.
  • Identify title defects, liens, easements, judgments, and other encumbrances affecting property ownership.
  • Ensure all title documents are accurate, complete, and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
  • Review and clear title requirements and exceptions prior to policy issuance.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Perform quality control reviews of title files and documents.
  • Ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines, state regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the title production process.
  • Monitor changes in industry regulations and implement best practices.

Issue Resolution

  • Investigate and resolve complex title issues and discrepancies.
  • Communicate with attorneys, lenders, surveyors, underwriters, and other stakeholders to clear title concerns.
  • Provide recommendations and solutions for challenging title matters.
  • Escalate underwriting risks and unusual title conditions when necessary.

Team Leadership & Support

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for title production staff.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior title officers and production team members.
  • Assist management in improving workflows, procedures, and operational efficiency.
  • Help establish production standards and monitor team performance.

Customer Service

  • Respond to inquiries from clients, lenders, attorneys, and internal teams.
  • Provide timely updates regarding title status and outstanding requirements.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with customers and business partners.

Qualifications:

Required

  • 5+ years of experience in title production, title examination, or title insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of title commitments, title policies, and real estate transactions.
  • Experience reviewing title searches and resolving title defects.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with title software systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred

  • Title insurance licensing or certification, where applicable.
  • Experience working with national and multi-state title transactions.
  • Prior experience supervising or mentoring title staff.
  • Knowledge of underwriting guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements.
