Geosyntec has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Environmental, Health, and Safety Professional. You will have the opportunity to work fully remote from your home-office in Nebraska and join our growing practice supporting our Acton, MA office and our New England operation. You will continue to help us grow our practice, manage client development for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) and due diligence projects. This position requires an entrepreneurial attitude and enthusiasm for supporting business development and technical efforts to expand Geosyntec’s market share. This position supports the creation and implementation of new strategies by providing strategic solutions to our clients’ most complex problems. Our client base includes a diverse mix of industrial, institutional, and governmental clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as an Environmental Management and Due Diligence practice leader focused on business development of EHS consulting services, with an emphasis on due diligence in mergers & acquisitions, staff mentorship and growth, and expansion of practice services internally to existing Geosyntec client teams and externally for newly identified clients.
• Lead and support complex, multi-site due diligence projects across North America and globally including contamination, compliance, health and safety, and sustainability components.
• Perform EHS compliance and management system inspections at a wide variety of industrial and commercial facilities, interview corporate management teams, and interface with project stakeholders throughout the diligence process.
• Review and interpret pending and new regulations and develop strategies for clients externally and provide mentoring and support to internal Geosyntec team development.
• Review and prepare technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, and other customized deliverables associated with technical diligence.
• Provide clients with project management, technical advice, and training related to environmental contamination, compliance, sustainability, and EHS management systems.
• Develop customized scopes of work to meet our clients’ diligence needs within the context of the unique schedule, parameters, and risk drivers of each project.
• Direct multi-disciplinary project teams of subject matter experts.
• Consistent with our sell-manage-do business model, support lead generation, business development, staff development, and mentoring.
• Help broaden our reputation via publishing and attending prominent industry conferences. 
• Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed.

Education and Licensure:

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, geology, or related field. (required) 
• Advanced degree in the same. (preferred) 

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• At least 8 years (10+ preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) 
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required)
• Experience managing the overall delivery of projects including project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management. (required)
• Experience in assessing comprehensive EHS management programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. (preferred)
• Experience in client management and effective communications regarding critical risk drivers that materially affect business objectives. (preferred)
• Regional visibility through involvement in professional associations or trade organizations. (preferred) 
• Excellent writing and communication skills. (required)
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)  

This opportunity will be posted for at least five days. Below are the potential compensation ranges that we in good faith believe are applicable for this role at the time of this posting and are only applicable for jobs to be performed in the specified location(s) below. The typical base salary range for this position is just one component of Geosyntec’s total compensation package for employees. Actual compensation will be determined based on education, experience, skill set and location.

• Minimum Salary: $121,985/year / Maximum Salary: $209,060 /year (MA)
