  • Screen, search, and clear proposed trademarks, assess risk levels, and provide reasoned recommendations
  • Conduct U.S. and foreign trademark clearance searches, including online research and coordination with foreign agents and prepare clear, organized summary reports and draft global clearance opinions
  • File US trademarks and instruct the filing of trademark applications outside of the US and oversee outside counsel to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to timelines
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for trademark prosecution matters, independently resolving routine issues, escalating non‑routine matters as appropriate, and clearly relaying guidance to outside counsel
  • Support worldwide trademark conflicts in coordination with the trademark counsel and outside counsel (including oppositions, cancellations, infringements, UDRPs, and counterfeits)
  • Coordinate annual renewal activities for global trademark registrations for the assigned business unit and handle US renewals in house together with the trademark counsel of the business unit
  • Review trademark‑related invoices, approving or rejecting payment with appropriate explanation
  • Assist with trademark budget planning and cost management for the assigned business unit
  • Monitor outside docketing systems to ensure accurate docketing of all actions and deadlines

Minimum Required Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to independently prioritize complex, high‑volume workloads
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining individual ownership of assigned matters
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant legal education (Paralegal certificate)

Other qualifications:

  • Ability to handle a portfolio of 5000+ active trademarks
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and disciplined follow‑through
