Senior Transportation Design Engineer - Plans & CAD

Fisher Arnold is seeking a team-oriented, experienced Transportation Engineer to work in our Memphis, TN office. The ideal candidate will assist with design and plans production tasks related to transportation projects.Fisher Arnold is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and we require all new team members to work in a drug-free environment and submit to an initial screening and background security check.RESPONSIBILITIES• Provide engineering design services for project plans development for transportation related projects• Independently perform engineering assignments, calculations, and tasks• Assist engineers in making updates to drawings and plans in CADD software• Work together with a team to provide quality design services for transportation projects• Work with Project Manager in obtaining approvals from DOTs, municipalities, and agencies• Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited university• 5-15+ years of experience• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred• Passed Fundamentals Exam (FE) or the ability to achieve certification• Knowledge of CADD (MicroStation and OpenRoads (ORD) programs preferred)• Strong oral and written communications skills• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
