Senior Transportation Engineer

Our staffing agency represents a family owned, growing engineering company that is looking for a Hybrid Transportation Project Manager. The company has a 4.3 rating on Glassdoor and works with on projects in and around Chicagoland.

This Chicago-based company is seeking a Project Manager to help on some design and management of transportation projects in Chicago in phase 1 and phase 2.

Role:

· Help manage transportation projects with CDOT and IDOT that includes working with budgets, estimates, and evaluating bids from subcontractors and suppliers.

· Project are only in Chicagoland

· Control the day-to-day including developing a master schedule in collaboration with the Principal in Charge, this project deals with government entities

· Manage the shop drawing/submittal schedule and RFI's and scope development.

· Lead meetings on-site, package bids, pay estimates, change orders, and really manage the entire project.

Required:

· 5+ years experience as a civil engineer or transportation engineer

· Submittal Preparation & tracking experience

· Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering AND PE license
