This position will play a key role in performing highway design, developing contract plans and documents, and mentoring junior staff. This position will also collaborate across our multiple service areas, assist with business development, project pursuits, and coordinate projects with our clients.ResponsibilitiesLead technical assistance and manage technical aspects on a variety of transportation and transportation related projectsPerform detailed engineering tasks, such as the design, review/preparation of contract documents, development of construction cost estimates and specificationsOversee and manage multiple projects at once, providing responsive client service and strong communication, both internally and externallyWork with multiple municipalities and agency clientsPresent project findings and represent the company at client meetingsWork as part of our overall design team, providing technical support and collaboration with other disciplinesOversee and mentor younger staffPreferred location is BETA's Hartford office. Candidates should have flexibility to work from our other office locations.
