Senior Transportation Engineer

Working with interdisciplinary teams, you'll guide projects from concept through implementation, mentor staff, build client relationships, support business development, and develop practical solutions that improve safety and mobility for people walking, biking, and taking transit. Based in our collaborative Oakland office, you'll work alongside planners, engineers, urban designers, and landscape architects on projects ranging from systemwide planning and corridor studies to detailed design and implementation.What You Bring:Professional Engineering (PE) license and/or California TransportationEngineer (TE) certification, or ability to obtain within six months (California PE license is a plus)8+ years of multimodal transportation project experience Proven leadership of multi-discipline design and planning projects, delivering on time and on budgetStrong networks and relationships in the California transportation market, including with Caltrans, municipalities, or other consulting firms is a plus Experience presenting projects and conveying technical details to a variety of audiencesThe motivation to win work, including forming and managing client relationships, identifying potential opportunities, and developing proposals and interview materialsFluency or a working knowledge of the Spanish language is a plusJoin Us.
