The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience performing traffic engineering related tasks, and a STEM degree. This position allows for exposure to multiple disciplines within transportation engineering, including both design and analysis work and seeing projects' development from the concept to final design.ResponsibilitiesProduction of transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages. Projects may include geometric design, temporary traffic control, traffic signals, utilities, signing, pavement marking, roadways, and lighting networks.Perform quality control reviews of design documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project objectivesMentor junior engineers and designers while providing technical leadership and oversight on project QA/QC proceduresLearn and use readily available resources, standards, and reference materials to provide the best quality design deliverables.QualificationsB.S. Degree in Engineering or other related STEM fields5+ years of Civil Engineering experience within transportation/traffic/roadwayAbility and desire to operate professionally in a team environmentPreferred QualificationsP.E LicenseExperience using OpenRoads, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and/or SynchroM.S.
